Le logiciel a évolué depuis sa conception sous l’influence d’un club d’utilisateurs très actifs, présidé jusqu’en 1999 par le Dr JB Rottier (Le Mans) devenu ensuite l’ASSOCIATION DES UTILISATEURS D’OPLUS.
